Comments: 07/1928: Fitted with experimental pulverised coal burning boiler to replace oil burner
Being a successful trial, the ship was fully converted
1935: Rebuilt by decking over the wells to give a flush profile
Depth changed from 36.5ft to 45.2ft
17/12/1937: Wrecked in fog off Hood Point, East London, South Africa
On a voyage from the Clyde to Melbourne carrying general cargo
