02/1936 The Indian Co-operative Navigation & Trading Co Ltd, Bombay
17/07/1947 Sank
Comments: Built for the passenger trade between Bombay and Goa
09/1939: Requisitioned by the Royal Indian Navy as an auxillary patrol vessel
Also later used for anti-submarine training
1946: Returned to owners
17/07/1947: Capsized & sank in heavy weather 30 mins after leaving Bombay
On a voyage from Bombay to Rewas with 713 passengers. 669 passengers & crew died
