15/04/1899: Fire broke out while in North Shields, completely gutting the cabin

25/09/1916: Collided with and sank st ANT (A308) two miles off Cruden Scaurs.
2nd Engineer James Hedger was lost, remaining crew rescued by OSPREY.
Soon after, OSPREY's engines failed & was towed to Aberdeen by a Naval patrol vessel.
12/04/1917: Captured by submarine & sunk by gunfire 45m NE x E from Girdleness
