1865: James Alexander was an agent for the Australian owners
1877: Collided with and sank the barque SYLPHIDE, without loss of life
13/02/1879: Ran aground whilst attempting to leave Port Macquarie
Became a total wreck when overnight storms broke the vessel's keel
1910: Wreckage partially dispersed by dynamite
