BUENO VENTURA was purchased by Armstrong Mitchell on 22/07/1891 and pulled up onto a slipway to be modified to increase her speed and seakeeping. Her second launching was 26/07/1892. | |
She was launched as AURORA and after completion awaited sale to a customer. Purchased by the Brazilian Government in October 1893 and renamed GUSTAVO SAMPAIO |
