Comments: Funnel & masts were telescopic for navigation of the Manchester Ship Canal
15/12/1923: Wrecked at the mouth of the River Mersey
Whilst leaving Liverpool, she stranded on Taylors Bank revetment
She broke her back and became a total loss
She was on a voyage from Liverpool to Brisbane with general cargo
The revetment is a man made underwater wall of rock constructed to improve
water flow and reduce silting in the river
