Comments: 09/1939: Requisitioned by the Royal Indian Navy as an auxillary patrol vessel
Also later used for anti-submarine training
1946: Returned to owners
17/07/1947: Capsized & sank in heavy weather near Kansa Rock at 18.50N - 75.52W
On a voyage from Bombay to Rewas with passengers. 669 passengers & crew died.
