Comments: Member of the Courageous Class of Battlecruisers
Originally designed to be a Battlecruiser she was modified before completion as an aircraft carrier. The forward turret was replaced with a hangar and a forward flight deck
11/1917: Rear turret replaced with a hangar and flightdeck
06/1921: Superstructure removed & flightdeck extended over 3/4 of her length
23/01/1948: Initial breaking up at Dalmuir
22/06/1948: Final breaking at Troon
