Comments: She was the first collier to be powered by steam alone.
She suffered undue delays as a result of the "Coal Turn Act", whereby vessels were
loaded on the Tyne in strict order of when they arrived off the bar.
The vessel was deemed uneconomic due to the delays and was sent to Australia.
She is thought to be the first steamer to cross the Pacific Ocean.
